What a great start to launch Reactive Radio! 640 listeners tuned in to our first "test" stream to listen to Smithy's Pure 80's and Glitterball with Doctor Dance. Very impressive considering we've been "off air" for over a year!

I guess it was a couple of years ago - the radio alarm came on early one morning to the sound of Terry Wogan's breakfast show on Radio 2. I was half asleep, but became aware of this fantastic sound coming out the radio - an upbeat festive song with a difference - "What A Day". The combination of Elio's powerful and soulful vocal - against a feel-good swing-style brassy backdrop certainly grabbed my attention. So much so - after Terry back-announced the song, I immediately went to my computer and downloaded the track from Itunes! I played the song several times on (BBC) Glitterball - and on the shows I covered on Christmas day and boxing day. "What A Day" was certainly popular with the listeners too - we actually had calls from people asking "Who was that?"
Well, it was and is Elio Pace - an extremely talented artist on the very verge of big things... This new album is certainly going to do the business!
